Gurgaon-based
Delhi Land & Finance (DLF)
Group is moving to integrate
its technology platforms spread
across a range of businesses
from real estate to hotels and
entertainment parks. DLF Universal
Ltd, the group's flagship company,
has inked an applications design
and maintenance contract with
Chennai-based enterprise applications
and services provider Ramco
Systems, to streamline business
operations across the DLF group
of companies.
DLF management will get access
to data real-time for informed
decision-making, a Ramco release
said. Ramco Systems will implement
its Enterprise Series suite
of applications for DLF Universal
Ltd. Built on Ramco VirtualWorks,
the Enterprise Series comprises
functions that include finance,
demand fulfillment, procurement,
inventory, HRMS and maintenance
functions.
The solution will also encompass
business specific components
like leasing, accounts receivables,
services billing and broker
management. DLF Universal Ltd
has in recent years, graduated
from real estate into a range
of business verticals like homes,
offices, shopping malls, special
economic zones, hotels, infrastructure,
and entertainment parks. It
currently has over 130 million
sq. ft of projects to its credit.
The group has planned projects
of over 117 million sq. ft,
which will comprise 95 million
sq. ft of residential, 15 million
sq. ft of commercial and 6 million
sq. ft of retail projects.
The first phase of the implementation
is expected to go live by October
2006 and the second phase by
December 2006, Ramco said in
a press release.
