The current
financial year continues to be positive for Ramco and the company has
maintained break-even for the second consecutive quarter.
For the first half of the year (H1:Apr-Sep '07), total global revenues of Ramco
Systems Ltd, including revenues from subsidiaries in USA, Switzerland,
Singapore, Malaysia and South Africa stood at USD 27.65m as against USD 25.16 m
during the corresponding period last year, registering a growth of 10%. During
this period, the company has posted a modest global net profit of USD 0.08m
compared to a net loss of 2.02m in the corresponding period last year.
Global software revenues grew by an impressive 19% to reach USD 23.10 m and
contributed to 84% of the global H1 revenues. Tighter cost management has
resulted in the company turning profitable.
For Q2 '07-'08, the company has posted global revenues of USD 13.49 m with a
net profit of USD 0.06m.
Commenting on the results, Mr. P.R.Venketrama Raja, Vice Chairman, Managing
Director & CEO said, "Ramco is on the path of a sustainable
and profitable growth in the coming quarters. Our investments in creating a
global consulting practice, key partnerships in Aviation & Procurement
Outsourcing, innovative offerings, world-class talent and focus on select
verticals have started yielding positive results".
During the last six months, the company has witnessed excellent traction in the
Aviation MRO market with key order wins. The APAC region continues to secure
significant deals in the HCM space.
