Indian Merchants' Chamber organized a Conference on “Fostering Inclusive Growth through IT” on Friday, March 11, as part of Information Technology 2011, at Mumbai. Being a pioneer in providing ERP on the cloud, Ramco made its presence felt as Mr. Durai Rajasekar, Executive Vice President, Analytics & RODE, was one of the distinguished host of speakers at the session on "How Cloud Computing can help drive Inclusive Growth". DR, as we fondly refer to him, has been instrumental in spearheading the Ramco OnDemand ERP business. The panel discussed and debated on what 'the cloud' is and is not, how it is rapidly transforming the business landscape while evolving into a sustainable IT paradigm, through case-studies and specific examples.

This conference set the stage for policy makers, industry leaders, service providers and other stakeholders, to debate and brainstorm over the use of cutting edge technology options to promote inclusive growth so that the benefits can be accrued by every section of society. Other industry experts on the panel included Mr. Manish Kasliwal, Head of Strategic Marketing in L & T Infotech, Mr. Anjan Choudhary, Senior Advisor & Consultant to Bombay Stock Exchange, Mr. Sharad Saxena Joint General Manager, ICICI Bank, Mr. R. P. Singh, President & CEO, GyaanTech Software Solutions, and Mr. Nitin Khanapurkar, Executive Director, KPMG.
