Job Summary:
We are looking for a driven Sales Hunter to lead new business efforts for our aviation-focused MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) software in North America. If you enjoy closing deals, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth, this role is for you.
In this position, you will help grow our presence with airlines, MRO service providers, and other aviation companies. Using your knowledge of the aviation industry and software sales, you will find, pursue, and close new opportunities while working with internal teams to deliver the right solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Identify, target, and acquire new clients in the aviation sector, focusing on airlines, independent MROs, and OEMs.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets for MRO software solutions.
- Pipeline Management: Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring consistent lead generation and deal progression.
- Client Engagement: Conduct presentations, product demos, and solution workshops to showcase the value and competitive advantage of our MRO software.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to position the software effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with pre-sales, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and solution implementation.
- Negotiation and Closure: Lead contract negotiations and close high-value deals that align with business objectives.
Key Requirements:
- Proven Sales Track Record: 5+ years of successful experience in enterprise software sales, preferably in the aviation or MRO domain, with a focus on hunting new business.
- Aviation Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of aviation MRO operations, industry pain points, and digital transformation trends.
- Hunter Mindset: Self-motivated, driven, and relentless in pursuing new business opportunities.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to present complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and deal-closing capabilities.
- Relationship Building: Adept at building and nurturing relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree: In Business, Aviation Management or equivalent industry experience.
- Willingness to Travel: Up to 50% travel across North America to meet clients and attend industry events.
